The Bulgarian State Women's Chorus, Princeton University Chapel, Princeton Campus
7:30 p.m., Performing "Le Mystere Des Voix Bulgares." $15., www.princetongleeclub.com

The Grammy Award-winning Bulgarian State Women's Chorus—Le Mystère Des Voix Bulgares—will be presented by Princeton University Glee Club at the breathtakingly beautiful Princeton University Chapel. The celebrated a capella group, consisting of twenty-four women dressed in traditional Bulgarian attire, will make their Princeton debut while on a rare, only month-long, tour of the United States. Renowned for several decades for generating "one of the most unique sounds in music...a breathtaking, otherworldly sound somewhere between the Muslim call to prayer and the Beach Boys" (The Guardian), the group has developed an international following across a wide range of musical genres, recording on the cult record label usually hosting rock bands such as Bauhaus and Pixies, and counting everyone from Abba to Kate Bush among their fans.
