Youth Stages will present participatory improvisation workshops in the style of "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" for teens at the Mercer County Teen Arts Festival to be held at Mercer County Community College on Friday, May 12. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m and is open to all Mercer County public, private, parochial, and home school students in middle and high school, grades six through twelve, ages 13 to 19.

Annual Spring Flower Sale, St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center

St. Lawrence Rehabilitation Center will be hosting it’s annual Spring Flower Sale on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.   Hanging baskets, annuals, herbs, veggies, and perennials will be available.  This is a wonderful opportunity to shop for your spring gardening plants and Mother’s Day Gifts.

Spring Concert, Trenton Children's Chorus

Trenton Children's Chorus (TCC) is winding up the year with its annual Spring Concert on Friday, May 12 at 7:00pm. The culminating event features children in grades K through 12, from all six of the organization’s choirs. The inspirational theme of this year’s concert is Stand Up, encouraging participating youth to proactively support the things that matter to them. The concert will feature a song from the immensely popular Broadway play, Hamilton, and I Can’t Keep Quiet, by Los Angeles-based artist MILCK, among others.

The concert will be held at Covenant Church, 471 Parkway Avenue in Trenton. Admission is free and open to the public.

Growing up in the Australian Outback, young Peter Allen has dreams of seeing his name in lights on Broadway. “The Boy from Oz” is Allen’s story – of his spectacular rise to the top as a singer/songwriter and the trials that come with fame. Forte Dramatic Productions partners with Pierott Productions to bring Allen’s musical biography to the stage at Mercer County Community College’s (MCCC’s) Kelsey Theatre. Dates and show times are Fridays, May 12 and 19 at 8 p.m.; Saturdays, May 13 and 20 at 8 p.m.; and Sundays, May 14 and 21 at 2 p.m.

Kelsey Theatre is located on MCCC’s West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance on May 12.
